After Lismer, by Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas

In 1996 during the Group of Seven show I gave a lecture at the Vancouver Art Gallery called Indians, Cartoons and Hybridity. Using Lismer's Islands of Spruce I worked up this piece in the manner of the Red Stump.
