The Haida story of twins born to a union of a woman and a bear is similar to the founding myth in Korea where a bear becomes a woman. In Haida Taan gun might mean a bear that is a younger same sex sibling - and in Korean Taan gun might be the name of the bear that becomes a woman.
Oh well.

This design is done in the ancient Naaxin style. It is a woman holding the Clan Hat within. The Yahjanaas will be named November 13 in Kayang, Haida Gwaii.
